Robert Blake Harnden

Robert Blake Harnden, 77, of Greenwood, passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2025.
Robert was born on September 19, 1948, in Brown City, Michigan, to the late Louis and Cora Harnden.
Robert married the love of his life, Mona Sexton, on October 22, 1966, and together they shared nearly 59 years of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
A lifelong farmer at heart, Robert was passionate about teaching his grandchildren the values of hard work and the joys of farming. His love for tractors and his knack for fixing anything that needed repair earned him the title of a "jack of all trades." Robert's skills also extended to construction and building, always willing to lend a hand and share his knowledge. But beyond his many talents and accomplishments, Robert will be remembered most for his deep love for his family, his infectious laugh, and his kind heart. He was a man who brought joy to those around him and left an impact on all who knew him.
His memory will forever be cherished by his wife, Mona of nearly 59 years; children, Cynthia (Daniel) Harnden-Wheeler, Robert (Pam) Harnden, and Gregory Harnden; grandchildren, Danielle (Timmothy) Maison, Robert (Vivian) Harnden, Darren (Allison) Harnden, Nathan Harnden, Sara (Cameron) Butler, Dante (Bryce) Reeves, Zoey Jane Harnden; one great-grandchild on the way; siblings, Gary Harnden, Judy Harnden Johnston, and Alice Kay Harnden Rathwell; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle Deike-Sanchez and brother, Ronald Harnden.
The family honors the memory of Robert and invites you to visit and share memories on Thursday, October 2, 2025, from 2:00 until the time of the service at 4:00 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Yale. Rev. Mark Garavalia, pastor of The First Presbyterian Church, Yale, will officiate.
Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Blue Water Animal Shelter.
