Robert Harper Obituary
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marcyle Taylor Harper; his parents, Franklin Alexander Harper and Lela Mae Patterson Harper; and a sister, Shirley Arrowood.
Herman worked for many years at Spindale Mills. He enjoyed spending his spare time woodworking, gardening, and mowing the grass. He was also a faithful member of Main Street Baptist Church in Spindale.
He is survived by his sons, Regan Harper (Lee Ann), Ivan Harper (Fang), and Marcus Harper (Emily); a brother, Colin Harper; and a sister, Marie Gilbert. Herman also leaves behind three grandchildren-Stephanie Blanton, Taylor Harper, and Chelsea Harper-as well as three great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Forest City at 2 PM. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Eternal Hills Memorial Park in Forest City.
