WATERBURY- Mr. Robert A. Heche, 67, passed away peacefully on March 26th at the VITAS unit in St. Marys Hospital.
Born in Waterbury on December 19, 1956, Robert was the son of the late Adrian "Andy" and Anita (Duplessis) Heche. He graduated from Wolcott High School. Robert was a former employee of Sikorsky Aircraft and is the former owner of Gaynor Electric, of Thomaston. Before addiction, Bob enjoyed and loved life and all that surrounded him. He was a proud member and past president of SMA Small Manufacturers Association and the Rotary Club in Thomaston. He enjoyed coaching his sons baseball teams in Thomaston and steelhead salmon fishing in Pulaski, NY.
Robert is survived by his sons Paul Heche and Kristen Budris, Chris Heche and his wife Jennifer, his daughter Nicole and her husband Jesse Defelippi and his nine grandchildren. Bob is also survived by his brother David and wife Ginny Heche, his sister Denise "Dee" Babcock, several nieces and nephews and special friend, Karen Obar who helped take care and love him for many years.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Roberts life at 10 AM on Friday April 5, 2024 at a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church 785 Highland Ave. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
