Kenneth R. Marcoux, 78, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, surrounded by the love of his family.
Ken was born and raised in Waterbury, CT, and was a graduate of Wolcott High School. Over the years, he made his home in Bristol, CT; Rhode Island; Baldwinsville, until 2007; Myrtle Beach, SC; and most recently returned to Syracuse in 2024. A Navy veteran, Ken served his country with honor.
Throughout his life, he had a deep love for travel and adventure. He greatly enjoyed boating and skiing, pursuits that reflected his energetic and outdoors-loving spirit. Above all else, Ken treasured time spent with his family, creating memories that will be forever cherished by those who knew and loved him.
Ken was predeceased by his parents, Roger and Viola Marcoux; and brother, Bradford.
Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Barbara; daughters, Renee (Adam Bock) Marcoux and Alyssa Marcoux; grandchildren, Aiden, Walter, Olivia, and Jackson; and several nieces and nephews.
Ken will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his love of life, and the many stories and laughter he shared with those around him. His legacy of love and strength will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
There will be no services.
