Charles Wayne Marcoux, age 65, of Thomas Township, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026.
Charles was born on August 29, 1960, in Jefferson, Alabama. He attended Saginaw High School before enlisting in the United States Army. He spent his career as a Postal Clerk with the U.S. Postal Service showcased his commitment and work ethic. Beyond his professional life, Charles was a man of diverse interests. He found joy in working on cars, a hobby that allowed him to tinker and create. His love for the outdoors was evident in his enthusiasm for hunting and fishing, pursuits that brought him closer to nature and provided cherished moments of solitude and connection. Additionally, he enjoyed bowling, which provided him with moments of fun and camaraderie.
Charles was a devoted family man, survived by his loving wife, Yvonne (Hirschman) Marcoux. Charles and Yvonne were united in marriage on May 14, 1983. He is also survived by his father, Terry (Helen) Marcoux; his mother-in-law, Sandra Hirschman; three children, Amber Marcoux, Charles Marcoux Jr., and Phillip (Carrie) Marcoux; two grandchildren, Madison Partlow and Bradyn Marcoux; one sister, Lisa Marcoux; one sister-in-law, Debbie Hirschman and one brother-in-law, Steve (Jackie) Hirschman; and many nieces and nephews.
Charles was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jo Marcoux; and his father-in-law, Phillip Hirschman.
Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at W . L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 201 N Miller Rd, Saginaw, MI 48609. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 6, 2026 at the funeral home, where friends may visit with the family from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service. Rev. William Hesler will officiate the funeral service, and interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
