Passed away on Friday, February 20, 2026 at the age of 90 years. She was born on December 17, 1935 in Saginaw, the daughter of the late Henry and Mable (Larabell) Rutch. She married Andrew Gembrowski, January 8, 1955; he predeceased her on February 8, 2013. Janice worked as a teller at Michigan National Bank. Janice cherished her family.
Surviving are her children: David (Debbie) Gembrowski, Steven Gembrowski, Carol (Duane) Coleman, six grandchildren: Michal Zietz, Audrey LeGendre, Aimee Coleman, Matt (Carly) Gembrowski, Chad (Blair) Gembrowski, and Katie (Adam) Niemiec, three great-grandchildren Ava Jo Gembrowski, Bodhi Gembrowski, Gia Gembrowski, her brother Jerry (Barb) Rutch, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two brother Bob Rutch and Ronnie (Jeanette) Rutch.
Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 201 N. Miller Rd.
