Robert (Bob) Heib, 79, of Sayre, Pennsylvania, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025
unexpectedly at home surrounded by family, just two days shy of his 80 th birthday.

Bob was born on December 29, 1945, in Sayre to the late Kenneth and Irene Heib.
Bob was a graduate of Sayre High School, he then enlisted in the U.S. Army on October 18,
1965 where he served three years. Bob then became a Facility Operations Specialist for the
National Park Service through the U.S. Department of the Interior in Staten Island, New York
where he retired from in 2009.

Bob is predeceased by his parents, Kenneth and Irene Heib, sister, Phyllis Alliger, brother-n-
laws, Larry Alliger, Richard Harris and Michael Oakley.

Bob is survived by his sisters, Patricia Brown of Sayre, PA and Deborah (Bob) Manning of
Kirkville, NY, nieces, Tricia (Kenny) Brown of Sayre, PA, Lisa (Mark) Tompkins of Fulton,
NY, nephews, Michael (Yvonne) Alliger of Gillett, PA, Ronald (Becky) Grace of Sayre, PA,
Jason (Ann) Brown of Vero Beach, FL, several great nieces and nephews and one special great
great niece Mckenzie, who is just loved dearly.

Bob loved spending time at the Sayre Hobby Shop with his great friend Frank, he enjoyed
watching the San Francisco 49er's football team and most of all he enjoyed spending time with
his family.

As per his request there will be no calling hours.

Burial will be held on January 10, 2026, at 1:00 at Tioga Point Cemetery with full military honors.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of The Thomas Cremation and Funeral Service, 1297 Elmira St., Sayre, Pa.
