Robert Heil Obituary
Beloved husband for 52 years of the late Elizabeth (Summerell) Heil; loving father of Robert J. Heil, Jr. and Helen E. Matoka (William); grandfather of Amiee Starinchak (Matt), Billy Matoka (Crystal), and Ashley Bandi (Steve); great-grandfather of Ricky, Ben, Elizabeth, and Lindsey; brother of Regis Heil, Teresa Johnston, Richard Heil, Carolyn Medvitz, and the late Raymond Heil. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Family will welcome friends on Friday from 2-8pm at Schellhaas Funeral Home, Inc., 388 Center Avenue, West View, PA, 15229. A Service will be held on Saturday at 10am at St. Stephen's Church, 405 Frederick Avenue, Sewickley PA 15143 (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH).
Bob was a devoted family man. He was a loyal employee at Babcock Lumber for 40 plus years. His love for God and faithful spirit drove him to become a Lay minister who brought the word of God to the senior citizen residents of Coraopolis Towers.

My Uncle Bob was a very special man. He was a good man, kind and gentle and an understanding man who was so easy to talk to. I always loved when he would say to me "Hey Shell" and he instantly made me feel safe and loved as a kid. I really wanted to get out to Pennsylvania to see you before the end of the year, and am sad that will never be. I am glad I got to talk to you a couple weeks ago. It was so good to hear your voice. I know you are in heaven and are reunited with Aunt Betty. Rest in peace Uncle Bob. You will be missed.

My Uncle Bob was a really special man. A good man and a kind man. He was a gentle and understanding man. I will miss him saying "Hey Shell". As a kid when I'd see him he would always greet me like that and immediately made me feel safe and loved, and I will forever treasure my memories of him. I really wanted to get out to visit you before the end of the year, and I am so sorry Uncle Bob. I am so glad I got to talk to you a couple weeks ago. I know you are finally reunited with Aunt Betty and that you are in heaven. I'm sure they rolled out the red carpet for you. Rest in peace Uncle Bob. You will be missed.
