Robert Hendershott Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Robert E. Hendershott, better known as Bobby, at the age of 90, on Friday, Jan. 16, 2026, in his home after a long illness with his loving wife of 34 years, Sue, by his side.
Bobby was born in Elkhart, Indiana, then resided in Bradenton, Florida, since 1996.
His other survivors are his son, Rick Hendershott, and stepdaughter, Rachel McPherson.
He was proceeded in death by his daughter, Robin Stump, his brother Paul Hendershott, his sister Rose Richards Tompkins and his sister, Janet Hochstetler.
No memorial is planned.

I remember Bob when he was a city fireman, and he got burned very bad in a fire and couldn't continue as a fireman anymore. After that, he became a barber and worked at Vic's Barbershop on Franklin St. near the old Judd's drug store and he used to cut my hair there when I was a teenager. He was a nice guy. May you rest in peace, Bob.
