Robert Thomas Hetrick

Robert "Bob" Thomas Hetrick II, age 59, of Delaware passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 25, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.
Bob was born to parents Neal Lawrence Hetrick Sr. and Mary Catherine (Mitchell) Hetrick on January 1,1965, in Columbus Ohio. He was one of four children and lovingly nicknamed "Bonehead" by his older brother Neal Jr. and would later go on to graduate from Highland High School in Sparta Ohio.
Bob worked in maintenance and loved his job and going to work. An independent and sometimes stubborn man, Bob was also known as having a heart of gold and always being there for his family when they needed help. He loved his life and was so proud of having his own place where he could sit outside admiring his trucks, enjoy and cup of coffee and a cigar and people watch. He loved his time living at the campground and always called his sister Cat to tell her he wanted her to go catch him a catfish and BBQ it for him for dinner.
Bob was described as always being happy, he loved his niece Tiffany dearly and was looking forward to meeting her baby Stormie Mae.
Bob is preceded in death by his father Neal L. Hetrick Sr.; son Robert; and brother Neal Hetrick Jr.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Mary Hetrick; sisters Catherine "Cat" Spradlin and Angela Hetrick; nieces Tiffany Hetrick and Tasha Hetrick; and great-niece Stormie Mae.
