Robert D. Hofacre, age 88 passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Thursday, October 6, 2022. Robert grew up in Massilion Ohio and graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1956. Robert was a self-employed Certified Public Accountant in Northern Kentucky for 42 years. For many years, he was an active member of St. Pius X Church and Mother of God Church and volunteered his time to many non-profit organizations. He will be deeply missed. Robert was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Bette Hofacre and brother, Jerry Hofacre. He is survived by his children, Elizabeth Hofacre, Jodie Hofacre, William (Mary) Hofacre, Timothy (Laura) Hofacre and Todd Hofacre; siblings, Michael (Melanie) Hofacre and Karen (Rick) Bunch; grandchildren Troy Hofacre, Hannah Hofacre, Esther Hofacre, Nicole Hofacre, Alexandra Hofacre, Samantha Williams, Thomas Williams, and Lucy Williams. Also survived by Aunts, Beverly Bullach and Joan Haslinger, sisters-in law Marilou (Schneider) Enslein and Sharon Hofacre-White. Also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Visitation will be on Saturday, October 22, 2022 from 10:00 am until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at St. Pius X Church, 348 Dudley Rd., Edgewood, KY 41017. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Elizabeth Hospice, or the charity of one's choice. Online condolences may be made at www.middendorf-funeralhome.com.
