Robert L. Holder Jr.

Robert L. Holder Jr., 62, peacefully passed away on Saturday August 30, 2025. Born in Washinton D.C., Bob was a son of the late Robert L. Holder Sr. and still living Theresa L. (Realo) Holder. "Radio Bob" had a huge heart and gave his all to everything he did. He was a man who didn't tell you his feelings, but he showed you in his actions. He was just a giver, no matter who it was, he gave. "Radio Bob" was the type of guy that loved to stir the pot, in the best way. You'd say "up", and he would say "down." He loved all things in life, whether it was watching the Phillies, MCing an event, or even just having a conversation with you, Bob was always fully engaged. Bob was always ready to debate and somehow would always make you laugh while doing it. At some point I'm sure we have all said, "Bob, you're being a pain in the b***" That was just Bob being Bob. He loved the radio and all things about it, the soul of the music, the meaning behind the lyrics, all of it. He bled for WZZO. Bob will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Bob was predeceased in life by his father Robert L. Holder Sr. and his beloved dog Reggie. Bob is survived by his mother Theresa, whom he loved dearly and his three siblings, Jesse Holder, Kevin Holder and his companion Eileen Kromer, and his sister, Maria Holder and her dog, Athena. Bob is also survived by his lifelong companion Lori Novogoratz and their beloved dog, Leah.

"After further review," there will be a viewing this Thursday, September 4, 2025, at the O'Donnell Funeral Home, Allentown, from 12:00pm-3:00pm. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bob's memory to the Animals in Distress Foundation, The Leukemia And Lymphoma Society and the Bobby Gunther Foundation.
