Robert P. Holt

Robert P. Holt, a devoted father and dedicated family man, passed away on September 16, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on June 5, 1943, in Cincinnati, Robert spent much of his life contributing to his community and nurturing his family.

Robert had a fruitful career that spanned over 40 years with Pepperidge Farm, where his hard work and commitment left an indelible mark. An Oak Hills High School graduate, he carried forward the values of honesty and diligence in every aspect of his life. Beyond his professional pursuits, Robert was a man of deep faith finding joy in moments spent with his loved ones and engaging in hobbies such as reading, bird watching, and attending bible studies.

Throughout his life, Robert cherished the simple pleasures that brought him happiness. He created lasting memories through camping, hiking, and enjoying Disney movies. He found delight in feeding ducks at Miami Whitewater and celebrated special occasions, making birthdays and Christmas particularly memorable for those around him. His proudest accomplishments included raising his family and becoming a beloved grandfather and great-grandfather.

Robert is survived by his children, Robert M. Holt, Mike Reinhard, Tonya McMahon and Andrea (Bill) Carroll. He leaves behind a legacy through his grandchildren—Joshua (Rachel), Connor, Chasstin, Aidan, Kaitlyn, Reilly, Ethan, Evelyn, Grace, Brad, Samantha, Justin—and his great-grandchildren, Jayde, Skyler, and Mason. He is also survived by his brother, David (Ginny), and many nieces and nephews who will continue to honor his memory.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Rose Holt, and his daughter, Ann Holt, and his late grandchild Tyler, as well as his siblings—Pauline, Fred, Henry, George, Betty, Frank, William, John, Eleanor, Edward, Ann, Rose, and Tim.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home, located at 4619 Delhi Pike, Cincinnati, OH 45238. Following the visitation, a Mass will take place at St. Dominic Church at 10:00 a.m., located at 4551 Delhi Road, Cincinnati, OH 45238. Robert will then be interred at St. Joseph New Cemetery, with the service commencing at 11:15 a.m.

Robert P. Holt's life was a testament to the strength of family bonds, the importance of community, and the value of hard work. He leaves behind a legacy of love and faith that will be cherished by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
