Robert Homer Obituary
Robert J. Homer, 72, of Cicero, returned to Mother Earth on November 11, 2024. Robert was born in Syracuse, New York on April 2, 1952 to Russell and Alice Homer.
Bob worked as a construction worker and carpenter during his life time. He loved to fish, hunt and spend time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by Parents, Russell Sr. and Alice Homer.
He is survived by his Spouse of 46 years, Mary Homer; Three Sons, Martin (Renee) Homer, Nicholas (Suzanne) Homer, Patrick (Cathy) Allen; Two Daughters, Sonya (Mark) Cardinali, Pamela (Toby) Barrington; Four Sisters, Kathleen (Wayne) Adsit, Mary Alice (Gary) Homer-Kuney, Norma (Jeff) Borsheski, Christine (Peter) Rebernik; Seven Brothers, Russell Homer, Jr., Patrick Homer, David (Theresa) Homer, Mark (Bonnie) Homer, Peter (Beth) Homer, Martin Homer, John Homer; Seven Grandchildren, Devynn Homer, Kayla Cardinali, Zachary Cardinali, Randy Barrington, Michael Barrington, Lucas Taylor and Zoey Barrington; as well as many Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024 from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 North Main Street, North Syracuse, where funeral services will follow at 6:00pm.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Food Bank of Central NY.
