Robert "Bob" Joe Hosier, 69, of rural Wabash, Indiana, passed peacefully at 10:45 pm, Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at his home. He was born on June 8, 1956, in Wabash, Indiana, to Richard "Dick" and Patricia Jean (Stambaugh) Hosier.
Bob was a 1974 graduate of Oak Hill High School. He married Deb Dalton in Wabash on March 29, 2014. Bob worked as a farmer, drove semi, and also drove a dump truck for Shoeshone Trucking Company in Peru, Indiana. He was an avid IU basketball, Indiana Pacer, Indiana Fever, and tractor pull fan. In his youth, Bob enjoyed racing motorcycles. Bob also enjoyed tinkering in his barn, mushroom hunting, taking care of his yard, being outdoors, and was a cat whisperer.
He is survived by his wife, Deb Hosier of Wabash, daughter, Holly (Michael) Cameron of Noblesville, Indiana, sister, Rita (Roger Heck) Hosier of Denver, Indiana, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Jerry Allen Hosier.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Pastor Rod Correll officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Servia. Friends may call 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm Friday, July 18, and 10:00 – 11:00 am, Saturday, July 19 at the funeral home.
Preferred memorial is Animal Shelter of Wabash County.
