Paquelet and Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral HomesRobert H. Howe, Sr, 80, of Massillon passed away February 19,2026 at Woodlawn Compassionate Care Facility, Canton.
Bob was born June 27, 1945, in Barberton, OH, to the late Edgar and Estelle Howe, where he also grew up.
Bob spent 20 years as a supervisor at the Babcock and Wilcox Barberton plant. He served as a deputy for the Summit County Sheriff Dept. Bob also owned and operated the TERE BENE Clinic in Canal Fulton as a Neuromuscular Therapist. Bob was a car enthusiast. He owned and enjoyed a 1951 Studebaker Starlight Champion, and a 1970 Dodge truck.
Bob leaves his wife of 63 years, Betty, and his children Bob Jr. (Kathy) Howe, Ariana (Joe Schwind) Howe, and Aaron Howe; two grandchildren Sarah and Ethan; 11 nieces and nephews, and their children. He was preceded in death by sister, Carol White and brothers, Gene Howe and Jack (Raye Card) Howe.
Bob donated his body to NEOUM Medical School in Rootstown, Ohio. Cremation is to follow. Burial at St. Joseph Cemetery of Massillon will take place at a later date. A Memorial Mass will be held March 7, 2026, 11:00 AM, at Divine Mercy Parish, St. Barbara Church of Massillon, Fr. John Sheridan, officiating.
