Robert Dale Huisinga

Robert "Bob" Dale Huisinga (49) passed away in his home on Tuesday, November 28th in Lake City. Bob was born March 28th, 1974 to Phil Huisinga and Georgia Wiederin (Maule) in Denison, Iowa. Bob is a 1993 graduate of Southern Cal High School.
He married Amy Giese on July 5th, 1997. In this union, they had three children (Kimberly, Makenzie, and Travis).
Bob worked as a helping hand on many farms and drove a truck which allowed him to travel the states. Bob loved spending time with family and his grandchildren. Bob enjoyed building and fixing all things, he had the attitude of "I can fix this!" Bob enjoyed being able to help all people and would give the shirt off his back. Bob loved curb shopping.
Bob is survived by his grandparents Wilbur and Agnes Wiederin of Lake City, IA; mother, Georgia (Joe) Wiederin of Lake City, IA; stepmother, Debbie Husingia of Denison, IA; children: Kimberly (Matt) Brantley of Ash Grove, MO; Makenzie Giese of Hollerster, MO; Travis (Alyssa) Husingia of Ash Grove, MO; grandchildren; Braxton and Willow Brantley, Braelyn and Wesley Husingia, and Delaney Heath; sisters Tracey (Tim) Kelso of Lake City, Christina (Brett) Foster of Ames, Nicole (Kevin) of Glidden, brothers Jesse (Katie) Husingia of Ute, IA; Chad (Laura) Wiederin of Lake City, IA and step-sister: Christina(Phillip) Dammon of Denison, IA; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great-nephews.
Bob is preceded into death by his father, Phil Husingia, grandparents; Joe and Ruth Husingia and Marvin and Bev Maule; brother-in-law Tim Kelso, niece Jessica Pickering, and great niece Mariah Pickering
The family has chosen to have a private ceremony.
