Bob retired as a Mechanical Engineer from Corning Inc., where his technical skill and commitment left a lasting impact. Beyond his professional achievements, he was a proud member and past board member of the Bath Country Club, reflecting his deep connection to his local community.
A man of many interests, Bob found joy in riding his Harley Davidson, playing golf, and indulging his love for fly fishing and fishing—hobbies that brought him relaxation and happiness throughout his life. His faith was also an important part of his journey; he was a devoted member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bath.
He is lovingly remembered by his life partner, Laura Ask, and her sons, Ryan and Kevin Ask; his son Michael Hujar; his goddaughter Jill Schoonejongen; and his brothers John Hujar and Joe (Monica) Hujar. He is also survived by his sisters Ann Marie (Joe) Tiderencel, Rita Broadhurst, and Kate Hujar, as well as many nieces and nephews who cherished his presence.
