Robert John Iacovelli, 61, passed peacefully on December 3, 2024, surrounded by his family and close friends. He was born in Marlborough, MA on April 21, 1963 to the late Richard and Rosanna (Valentino) Iacovelli. Bob lived in Eastern Mass as a young child, moving to Blandford, MA at 12 years old and was a graduate of Gateway Regional High School in 1981. He later attended TCI for diesel mechanics. Bob owned and operated Skyline Services, LLC in Westfield with his wife and family. Previously owning R.J. Iacovelli Transport and running up and down the east coast with a variety of different products. Bob enjoyed his family and his fur babies, watching the Patriots, NASCAR and Red Sox, and he had a passion for classic cars and his 1956 Chevy Bel Air. Bob leaves his wife of 30 years, Lorie M. (Hadsell) Iacovelli, three sons, Douglas and his girlfriend Crystal, Justin and his fiance Kim and Matthew and his girlfriend Nina, a grandson Robert Wayne, a sister, Lynn Harper of Orrington, Maine, best friend and father-in-law, Pete Hadsell and mother-in-law Tracy Clark, a sister-in-law Jennifer Hadsell of Pittsfield, sister-in-law Kelly Hadsell and brother-in-law Kristopher Clark, both of Great Barrington and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Richard and Rosanna Iacovelli, brothers-in-law Wade Harper and Daniel Hadsell. A Funeral Mass for Bob will be held on Monday, December 9, 2024 at 10AM in St. Mary's Church, Bartlett St. Westfield followed by burial in St. Thomas Cemetery, Huntington, MA. Visiting hours for Bob will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2024 from 1-4PM in the Firtion Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad St. Westfield, MA 01085. Donations in Bob's name may be directed to St. Mary's Church, 30 Bartlett St. Westfield, MA 01085 or to Holy Family Catholic Church, 5 Main St. Russell, MA 01071. www.firtionadams.com
