Robert “Bob” Marshall Jenkins, age 77, of Mechanicsburg died on Thursday, June 27, 2024. Bob was born on Saturday, August 10, 1946, in Dallas, NC to the late Marshall “Bud” Pugh Jenkins and Edna Mae (Hawkins) Jenkins.
Bob was loved by many.
Bob loved his country and served honorably in the 1st Reconnaissance Battalion in the United States Marine Corps, having completed several tours in Vietnam. He retired from Appleton Papers in Camp Hill, after 25+ years of service working as an electrician. Bob also enjoyed his time working at America’s Auto Auction Harrisburg in Mechanicsburg. He will be dearly missed by all those fortunate to have been a part of his life.
All are welcome to join Bob’s family at his viewing on Sunday, June 30, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. with a service from 3:15 p.m. at Buhrig Funeral & Cremation, 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055; with Celebrant George Spangler officiating.
