Nan as everyone called her was a graduate of Carlisle High School class of 1958.

Although a very “Plain Jane” She was a very caring and loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and friend, any could ask for and was well loved and cared for by her entire family.  To know Nan was to love her!

She spent many evenings hanging with her neighbors sitting outside on Mill Road and occasionally would have a beverage or two.

She could always be found sitting at the end of her table with a word search book in front of her.  Although she always had a drawer full if you went shopping or on a trip you always had to look and buy more.  If she was not in “her book” she would be looking out the window watching the ducks and the geese that Jeremy fed daily.

She enjoyed doing puzzles as long as they were 100 piece with her daughter Chris and if you visited her home you would see 622 puzzles hanging on the walls.

She enjoyed knitting mostly in her younger years and if you knew Nan you were certain to be a recipient of one of her handmade knitted hat, mittens, or gloves!  Maybe even a sweater!

Nan loved her Philadelphia 76ers and watched every game with her grandson Jeremy and she smiled a little more when #0 Tyrese Maxey was on the court and in the earlier years she loved watching #3 Allen Iverson.  She may have snuck a phone call into her grandson Jeffrey to make sure he was watching the game and she was certain to get a yes Nan I am watching it.

She loved going out to eat on Sunday evenings even if she typically only got a plain hamburger and French fries and the leftovers had to come home for Jeremy!

She had to be home and no appointments scheduled every weekday to watch the Young and The Restless from 12:30 to 1:30.

She was a Life Member of the Hampden Township Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and after that desolved the Fire Company.

Everyone was always welcome at Nans House and no one was a stranger!

There will be no services at Nans request.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
