CARLISLE - Clyde Allen Trayer, 87, of Carlisle, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at the Sara A. Todd Memorial Home in Carlisle. Born in Carlisle on February 25, 1938, he was a son of the late Clyde F. and Dorothea (Gladhill) Trayer. Allen was married to Joy D. (Haycock) Trayer for 66 years.

In addition to his loving wife, Allen is survived by two sons, Steven A. and Gregory J. (his wife Jennifer) Trayer, all of Carlisle; five grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

In 1959, he was preceded in death by twin sons, Marc A. Trayer and Michael A. Trayer; also predeceased by his brother, John Trayer, and sister in-law, Barbara Trayer.
