Robert F. Jobin Sr.

Ayer - Robert F. Jobin, Sr., 71, of Ayer, passed away on Wednesday afternoon, September 17, 2025, at his home in Ayer. Bob was born in Worcester, on April 27, 1954, a son of the late Joseph F. and Arline (Hare) Jobin. He grew up in Worcester, graduating from high school there and had lived in Natick for several years before moving to Ayer ten years ago. Bob worked as a custodian for several years in the Wayland school system prior to his retirement. He enjoyed spending time outside in his yard where he made many friends with those that passed by. His wife Roberta (Dodds) Jobin passed away in 2016. He leaves a son Robert F. Jobin, Jr. of Ayer; two brothers, James Jobin and John Jobin; two sisters, Laura Miller, and Ann Marie Beaudry; nephews and nieces. A celebration of Bob's life will be held on Saturday October 4, at 12PM at 12 Pearl St. Ayer. The Anderson Funeral Home, 25 Fitchburg Rd., Ayer, is assisting the family with the funeral arrangements.
