Robert "Bob" Ivan Johnson passed away suddenly on February 18, 2025 at the age of 74, in La Crosse, WI. Bob was born in La Crosse, WI to Robert and Doris (Nelson) Johnson. Bob married Dawn Trinkes on October 14, 1978. Bob enjoyed riding his Harley and took several trips to Sturgis. Bob also enjoyed fishing, cribbage, traveling with his wife and being "Papa" to his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Dawn; children, Joy (Chris), Cindy (Rob), Carrie (Ron), Matt (Chrystal), Julie (Josh) and daughter-in-law, Erin; grandchildren, Emily (Zach), Kyle (Ashley), Austin, Billy, Jenna, Nick, Makenna, Aaron, Zach, Kailey, Riley, Lexy, Justin, Jacob, Emily, Leah, Hannah, Ava, Samantha, Malcolm, Sophia, Mariah, Katelynn (Austin), Dominic, Amelia and Brooklyn; and great grandchildren, Evin, Benji, Nora, Maeve, Mia; and niece Cathy Tschumper.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Doris Johnson; in-laws Ervin and Evelyn Trinkes; his sister, Linda Murphy; son, Bobby Johnson; and son-in-law, Brian Marx.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate the life of Bob on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at Blaschke Schneider Funeral Home; 1501 West Avenue S., La Crosse. Visitation will be from 4-6pm, with service to follow starting at 6pm. The family invites those attending the services to wear Bob's favorites, Harley-Davidson or motorcycle attire.
The Blaschke-Schneider Funeral Home has been entrusted with the final arrangements.
