Robert Johnson Obituary
He leaves his loving wife of 68 years, Rose (Kelley) Johnson; his daughter Dawn M. Jones and her husband Robert of Colchester, CT; his brother, Floyd Johnson of Brooksville, Florida; sister, Susan Willett of Wallingford, CT; stepbrother, Joseph Kemish of Plantsville, CT; and stepsister, Donna Mule of Meriden, CT.
Robert was born in Randolph, VT, the son of Floyd S. and Golden A. (Boardman) Johnson.
Prior to moving to Sturbridge, he lived in CT and worked at various manufacturing firms. He retired in 2003 from the James L. Howard Co. of Bloomfield, CT after 27 years.
Robert's major hobby after retirement was painting. He spent many happy hours painting flowers and scenes from places he had traveled.
Services for Robert will be private. There are no calling hours. The Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge is directing the arrangements.
Donations in Robert's memory may be made to Rose Monahan Hospice Home, 10 Judith Rd., Worcester, MA 01602.
