Nancy M. Norowski

Southbridge: Nancy M. (Osimo) Norowski, 89, of Therese Ave., passed away on Monday, March 2nd, in the St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester, after a long illness.

She leaves her husband of 66 years, Roger L. Norowski; her two daughters, Claire Tuson of Southbridge and Catherine O'Brien and her husband Justin Spinney of Southbridge; her twin sister, Claire Russell of Webster; her three grandchildren, Kyle O'Brien and his wife Alexandria of Sturbridge, Chelsey Tuson and her fiancé Dylan Orzulak of Buckeye, AZ and Kerry Harrington and her husband Christopher of Wales; her three great grandchildren, Axel O'Brien, Luke Harrington and Shane Harrington; her two step great grandchildren, Enzo Jones and Luka Jones; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her four brothers, Vincent 'Jimmy' Osimo, Anthony 'Tony' Osimo, Tulio 'Tito' Osimo and Alphonse 'Ponzi' Osimo, Jr. and her five sisters, Isabella Authier, Mary Rondeau, Rita Lorange, Lillian Galonek and Laura Berthiaume. Nancy was born in Worcester the daughter of Alphonse and Angelina (Salce) Osimo, Sr.

Nancy worked at Hyde Manufacturing in Southbridge for over 25 years, retiring many years ago. She was a longtime devoted member of the former St. Hedwig's Parish in Southbridge, serving as a Eucharistic Minister and a member of the Holy Rosary Sodality. She was a member of St. John Paul II Parish and a member of the St. Rita's Society.

Nancy loved her husband, daughters and grandchildren deeply. She held a strong faith in God which poured into everything she set out to do. Her soothing voice and soulful eyes will be remembered by anyone lucky enough to have known her.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday, March 7th, from the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, with a Mass at 11:00am in St. Mary's Church of the St. John Paul II Parish, 263 Hamilton St., Southbridge. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Southbridge. A calling hour in the funeral home will be held on Saturday, March 7th, from 9:30 to 10:30am, prior to the Mass.
