Robert Ray "Bob" Jones, age 92, of Waynesburg, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2025, in Stanford, Kentucky. Born Tuesday, January 10, 1933, in Perry County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Andrew & Nancy (Fugate) Jones. Bob was the widower of the late Deva Jean (Caudill) Jones, who preceded him in death Friday, March 29, 2019. Bob was a retired welder, worked at Donaldson in Nicholasville, Kentucky, for 14 years, and was a farmer. As a young boy, Bob was saved at Locust Grove Baptist Church and was baptized by Bro. Fred Hill in Fishing Creek. Bob was a big UK Basketball fan and loved to eat at Lee's Famous Recipe.

Bob leaves behind two sons, Jimmy Jones (Misha) of Kings Mountain, Kentucky, and Danny Jones of Stanford; two daughters, Cynthia Kay Durham (Denny) of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Robin Dalene Estes of Waynesburg; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, Ernest Jones (Ona) of Waynesburg; and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his wife and parents, Bob was preceded in death by one step-son, Maurice Dale Fair; two brothers, Earl Jones and William Doug Jones; two sisters, Rose Mae Childers and Sylvania Spencer; four half-brothers, Briam Jones, Kelly Barnett, Mirdia Jones, and Amos Jones; and three half-sisters, Amy Childers, Eva Smallwood, and Effie Jones.

Private Burial will take place in Piney Grove Cemetery. A Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
