Robert Joseph Jones

Robert "Bob" Joseph Jones, 84, of Warren, Ohio passed away on January 3rd, 2026, peacefully surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Warren, Ohio to Joseph and Clara Sunderman Jones, whom both have preceded him in death. He has one sibling, Carol Irwin (Neal) of Champion with a niece, Sue Hall and a nephew, Doug Irwin.

Bob is survived by his wife, Shirley (DeBolt - Berry) Jones of Diamond, Ohio. He also leaves behind his stepchildren, Charles Berry (Joann), Robert Berry (Joy), Larry Berry (Stephanie), Angela Dodrill (Bryan), and Donnie Berry; along with eleven step- grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Bob was a United States Army Veteran. He retired at an early age after working 31.5 years at Delphi Packard as a maintenance line repair technician.

He loved reading, especially his Bible daily. His hobbies through the years included hunting, fishing, boating, swimming, riding his bike as well as his motorcycle and wood carving. He enjoyed walks with his beloved wife Shirley along with his dogs. He loved sitting under his favorite tree at home taking in nature and bird watching while enjoying a cup of coffee as much as possible.

Bob will be remembered by his family as a very loving, kind, thoughtful, giving, and gentle person who enjoyed his life with his wife, his dog, Ellie and all his family and good friends.

A Celebration of life will be planned at a later date for immediate family.
