Robert Ray Jones, 84, passed away on February 8, 2026 in Ocala, Florida. He was born November 8, 1941, to William Henry Jones and Mary Belle Hawkins in Deland, Florida. He served in the United States Army and retired after 21 years of faithful service to his Country. Robert worked as a professional driver for Marion County Schools for 12 years. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and outdoors projects. He and his wife spent 15 years traveling the country enjoying God's creation. He was avid about the church and helping others find The Lord.
He is preceded by his parents and sister, Janelle.
He is survived by his loving wife, Emma Louise Jones; sons, Robert Raymond Jones (Ruth) and Samuel Allen Jones (Janice); daughters, Caroline Louise Murray (Shon) and Patricia Ann Baltes (Richard); grandchildren, Sara, Brett, Victoria, Keelin and Ryan; great grandchildren, Daniel, Olivia, Maverick, Vayda, Melody and Emery.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, February 13, 2026, at Unity Baptist Church in Anthony, Florida. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at 12:00. Private interment to take place at Florida National Cemetery.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
