Robert E Jones

Robert Earl Jones was born on June 10, 1959, in Yazoo, Mississippi. Robert attended Heffernan Elementary and Austin High School in Chicago, Illinois. Robert was full of energy and carried a spirit that could light up a room. He had a humble heart and a presence that will truly be missed. He was loved deeply by his family, and though time may pass, his memory will forever remain in our hearts. He is now reunited with his mother Katie Jones, and his father Joe Louis Jones, sister Linda jones, brother Michael Spires who all preceded him in death. Robert departed this life on Monday, February 16, 2026. He leaves to celebrate his life his sisters, Joann Jones Rodgers (John Earl) and Diane Jones Brown (Scott), (Renne spires) both of Chicago; his brothers, Joe Louis Jones, Larry Jones of Wichita, Kansas; a caring uncle, Jerry Spires; a devoted and caring niece, DayDay; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, family, and friends. His life mattered, he was loved, and he will never be forgotten.
