Robert retired as a Construction Foreman from Bell Atlantic (Verizon) in Pittsburgh, PA after 44 years of employment. He was an active member of St. Francis by the Sea Catholic Church as an Usher for many years. He worked as a Poll Manager and Clerk of Elections on Hilton Head Island for 17 years.
He was a kind and gentle man with a great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
A mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Francis by the Sea Catholic Church at 10 a.m. on October 7, 2025 followed by interment in the church columbarium.
In remembrance of Robert T. Joyce's life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to St. Francis by the Sea Catholic Church, 45 Beach City Road, Hilton Head, SC 29926.
