Robert Jupiter, Jr., age 79, entered eternal rest on Monday, May 19, 2025. He was born January 19, 1946, to Robert Sr. and Mattie Evans Jupiter in Napoleonville, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Sr. and Mattie Evans Jupiter; 3 sisters, Mildred Jupiter, Ida Leal, and Josie Ward and mother and father-in-law, James and Ethel Williams. He leaves to cherish his precious memories his devoted wife of 59 years, Genevieve W. Jupiter; 2 loving children, Cynthia and Robert (Leslie) Jupiter, III; 5 siblings, Amy Bougere, Barbara Cox, Grace Toliver, Mattie and Calvin (Natalie) Jupiter; 1 granddaughter, Derionne (Brandon); 1 great grandson, Brandon Jr.; bonus daughter, Rita Fay Bennett; loving caretaker, Keyuner Taylor and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Relatives, friends, employees, Pastors, Officers, and members of Fellowship MBC, First Emanuel BC, and Bright Morning Star BC (Napoleonville, LA), Tulane University (Uptown Campus), City of N.O. Finance Department, Jupiter Accounting and Tax Service, Paretti Mazda, Mossy Motors, Hobson Galvanizing, Winn Dixie, NOPD, Neighborhood Housing Services, and Krewe of Athena are invited to attend his Celebration of Life Service on Friday, May 30, 2025, 11:00AM at Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, 2805 General Taylor St., NOLA. Rev. Dr. Moses S. Gordon, II, officiating. Visitation 9:00AM until service. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery
