Connell Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. - HellertownRobert M. Keefer, 86, of Bethlehem passed away peacefully on February 2, 2026. Born in Catawissa, he was the son of the late Marvin and Louise (Ash) Keefer. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Patricia Ann (O' Connell) Keefer. Robert had a hard upbringing, eventually moving from Catawissa to Pottsville. Growing up he did a lot of work with his uncle, including helping build 22, which would later become I78. He worked for Service Electric for 42 years. He was a simple man that enjoyed many things, including going to church at Christ Lutheran in Hellertown. He loved going out to eat, he loved dogs, and he enjoyed his cars. He loved to watch westerns like, Wagon Train or Rifleman. Robert was a handyman and an amateur plumber. He also enjoyed watching pro wrestling. He retired in 2008 and took up the hobby of gardening where he learned to grow many vegetables and flowers.
Surviving is his son: David Keefer; his grandchildren: Emily Copeland, Megan Novik, and Patrick Keefer; and his two nieces. Along with his wife Patricia, he was predeceased by his siblings: David, Sheldon, and Carol.
Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 10 -11:30 am on Thursday February 12 at Connell Falk Funeral Homes 1418 Main St. Hellertown, PA 18055, with a service to follow at 11:30 am.
