Vera Ellen Keefer, 70, of Inman, South Carolina, passed away on Friday, January 9, 2026.
Vera was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina the daughter of the late Thomas Earl Sosbee and the late Betty Jean Howell Sosbee. She was a graduate of Dorman High School. She served her country honorably in the United States Air Force and was a retired security guard with Spartanburg Regional Hospital. She enjoyed bowling and spending time with her family and friends. She was also an avid reader. She will be missed by everyone that loved her.
Left to cherish her many memories are her husband: Earl Keefer; her sons: Jason Allen and Rudy Earl Keefer; her grandchildren: Caroline Grace Keefer, Gweneth Clara Keefer, and Lexi Davis; two sisters: Betty Amos and Lisa Stevenson (Brian); one brother: Thomas Sosbee (Cheryl). Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A remembrance celebration to honor Vera's life will be held between 12 - 4:00 Pm on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at her sister's residence, 217 Crestline Dr, Spartanburg, SC 29301.
Vera’s loving heart and warm nature will continue to live in the hearts of her family and friends.
