Robert J. Keller, 79, of Candor, NY, formerly of Warwick, NY passed away Saturday, January 13, 2024. Mr. Keller was predeceased by his parents, John J. and Katherine (Boyle) Keller. He is survived by his wife of nearly 47 years, Patricia Keller; five children, Robert, Jr., Michael, Christopher, Cathy, Kevin; four stepchildren, Patti, Tammy, Billy, Glenn; 21 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jack, Dennis; two sisters, Kathy, Carol; several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Robert's life work circled in the Theatrical Business in New York City where he was a 44 year member of I.A.T.S.E. Local One. At the start of his career he worked at Radio City Music Hall, followed by years of work at various Broadway Productions. Robert was blessed in 2002 by having received a heart transplant giving him and our family 21+ years extended time with him, to that donor family we Thank You. Three years ago, Robert and Patrica moved to Candor, NY, where Robert has spent his last years. He always loved spending time here prior to their move, which lead their the decision to purchase the family property and to make it their home. Robert joined the Elks Lodge 21 years ago and worked his way through the required the steps to become Exalted Ruler, then became a Past District Vice President and, lastly District Deputy Grand Exalted Ruler. He enjoyed finding ways to fund raise for the Lodge so they can continue to provide assistance for our Veterans, NJEDDA, Elks Camp Moore and more. The family wishes to extend their appreciation to the Relyea's for being part of those memory years and Thank You to the new folks they have come to know and love in the last three years. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 137 Main St., Candor, NY. with Father Jeffrey Galens, officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Candor, NY. The family will receive friends Thursday Evening from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
