Obituary Robert Lyle Keller
Robert Lyle Keller, 67, passed away January 3, 2026 at his home in Blackfoot, Idaho.
Robert was born January 3, 1959 in Blackfoot, Idaho, the son of Carl and Jane Cook Keller. Rob spent most of his life in Blackfoot. After completing his education, he enlisted in the US Army. He was stationed in Georgia and served with the Military Police and tanker division.
On July 30, 2020, Rob and Cindie Duchscher were married in Blackfoot. The couple has been together for 18 years.
Rob worked various jobs throughout his life, including Basic American Foods, Millcreek Metals and Cowboy Custom Cabinets. He was also a handyman and flipped houses.
Rob was a member of the Blackfoot American Legion. He enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing. He liked playing darts and had a real love for the game.
Rob is survived by his wife, Cindie Keller; children, Beckie Chatterton, Jeff (Jackie) Keller, Misty Keller, Damon Saxton, Jason Saxton and Jessica (Jeremy) Saxton; siblings David C. Keller and Danna R. McCoy; grandchildren Aiden, Isis, Aulara-Dawn Lynn, Christopher, Harmony, Charlie, Caleb, Emmerson and Skylar; and 3 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings, Ricky C. Keller and Tom E. Keller.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 17, 2026 at the Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Avenue in Blackfoot. The family will meet with friends for one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be in the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery in Blackfoot.
