Robert Kimple Obituary
Greg, Jeff and Scott Kimple are profoundly saddened by the passing of our father, the family patriarch, Robert Kimple on August 7, 2025.
The loss of his wife of 73 years and our mother, Mary Lou on 9/5/2023 left the family devastated. Our father was there to help soothe our grief and guide the family through that challenging period as he did for us at every turn throughout our lives.
Born on 11/27/1927 Robert served our country in the mid 1940's. After leaving the service, he met the love of his life, Mary Lou & they married on 9/9/1950. Born and raised in Toledo, mom & dad moved to Miami in 1962. Robert embarked on a fulfilling 30 year career as a computer technician. The man could literally fix or build anything. He was educated, thoughtful, humble and most importantly, kind to everyone in his life! He raised his 3 sons in his image and was a role model that everyone should be so lucky to have.
He and mom moved to Cocoa Beach in '93 & relocated one last time to Soddy Daisy, TN in 2012.
His passing on 8/7/2025 leaves a void in the family heart that will never be filled but we are blessed to know he was a man of honor, integrity and profound compassion and energy for life. He was always a God-fearing man of principle, which guided his journey until his passing.
He joins his brothers; Johnny, Rich, William and sister Jean in heaven and he's survived by his brother Hank.
He will be missed and celebrated by his grandchildren Matt, David, Sadie and Allie as well as all the in-laws, relatives and friends who shared a part of his life for 97 plus years.
Lastly our mom and dad shared all their life with dogs and cats they cherished with deep compassion! Too many to recount they will always be a part of our family forever.
