Cheshire – Robert Lewis King, 80, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2026, with his beloved wife by his side. He was the husband of Sharon (Lombra, Luca) King. He graduated from Cheshire High School class of 64’. Bob was a lifelong resident of Cheshire, CT. He was drafted into the Army in 1967, where he was sent to Vietnam and served fourteen months before he was honorably discharged. Then lived in California for a while, attending college before returning to Cheshire.
Bob was born August 20, 1945, in Waterbury Hospital, the son of the late Lewis and Eleanor (DeMaria) King. He was an Aerospace Technician at Times Microwave Systems for over 50 yrs.
Besides his wife of 42 years, Bob is survived by his daughter, Melissa King of Stamford, his sons Greg Luca and his fiancée Roza of Amston, Bryan Luca and his wife Danielle of Hebron, and 4 beloved grandchildren, Tyler, Mason, Blake and Evelyn who were the light in his eye!
Arrangements: There are no calling hours. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
