Robert Klemish Obituary

Robert Klemish
ROBERT KLEMISH, JR. – Robert "Bob" Klemish, Jr., 84, went to his heavenly home on October 5, 2025. He died at MyMichigan Medical Center in Midland MI. He was born June 23, 1941, in Saginaw, Michigan. He was the son of Robert, Sr and Anna (Burback) Klemish. His parents predeceased him.
Robert graduated from Arthur Hill High School. He married his wife, Wendy Smith, on January 13, 1961. They just celebrated 63 years of marriage. He is survived by her.
Bob became a master electrician and owned and operated Beck Electric for many years. He then took a job at Williams Township as the electrical and zoning administrator. He retired on December 12, 2019. Bob also volunteered as a Midland County Sheriff Department deputy. Bob had a heart for missions and served others doing mission work in Mexico.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his sisters Judy (Keith) Schramm, Sandy LaDouce, and his brother Dave (Chris) Klemish; children Kelly (Tim) France, and David (Sarah) Klemish; grandchildren Andrew and Anna France, Maxwell and Harrison Klemish; and great-grandkids Lilli, Lia, Henry, Barrett, and Sawyer. Bob is remembered for his sweet and patient manner. Even when his health began to fail, he found joy in the moment.
A celebration of Bob's life will be held on Thursday, November 6th at Midland Baptist Church, 5009 Jefferson Avenue, Midland, MI 48640. Visitation with family will begin at 4 pm, followed by a brief memorial service and dinner in the fellowship hall.
Those who wish to remember Bob in a special way may make a gift in his memory to the Midland Humane Society.
