In loving memory of Robert Lee Kraus Jr.

Robert Lee Kraus Jr. passed away surrounded by family on February 25, 2026, at the age of 71. Born to Robert and Mary Kraus on November 8, 1954, in Okarche, Oklahoma. He lived a life full of love and devotion to his family.

Robert married the love of his life, Patti, on October 25, 1986. He spent his life loving and providing for his family. Growing up on a farm, there was little he couldn't fix, and he carried that work ethic into everything he did. His life was dedicated to his family, and he could be depended on for anything.

In retirement, following a career in grocery and retail management, he spent much of his time in his garden and on projects around the house. He was a lifelong lover of Christmas, winning multiple neighborhood light competitions. His greatest joy was his grandchildren. He loved to build and play with them and always had some new fun toy or game for them when they visited. No one could put a bigger smile on his face than them.

Robert is survived by his wife, Patti Kraus; his two children, John Kraus and wife Lori, and Jeff Kraus and wife Chelsey. He leaves a legacy of seven grandchildren: Oliver, Emilia, Savannah, Mason, Trice, Aubrey, and Ivy. Robert is also survived by his four siblings: Carol Barber and boyfriend Dan Snare, Janice Vaughn and husband Les, Pat Kraus, and Mike Kraus and wife Regina, along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mary Kraus.

A Vigil and Rosary will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church at 6:30 pm, Tuesday, March 3rd.

The Funeral Mass will also be at Holy Spirit on Wednesday, March 4th at 10 am.

Eternal rest grant him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Blessed Stanley Rother Shrine in memory of Robert and in honor of his grandchildren.
