Phyllis Ann Larimer

Phyllis Ann (Smith) Larimer, age 78, passed away February 21, 2026, at her home in Piedmont, OK. She was born on May 15, 1947, in Oklahoma City, to Overtis and Phyllis Lea (McGuffee) Smith. She graduated from Piedmont Schools in 1965, worked at Tinker AFB and Vance AFB, and for the State Department of Special Education. She and her husband Doug (d. 2022) owned Air Design. She was a proud supporter of Piedmont Schools, loved animals and fed many wild animals in the yard at her home, and proudly supported Haven of Hope, the Piedmont animal shelter. She was known throughout the community as "MoMo". Phyllis loved her Lord Jesus Christ, her family, and her six grandsons. She was preceded in death by her husband Doug, daughter, Andra Fischer, her stepdaughter, Sherri Larimer-McCann, her two brothers, David and Timmy Smith, and her parents. Phyllis is survived by her daughter Kendra Sprague and husband, Clint, six grandsons, Dalton Dykes and fiancée Brea Burney, Jaren Sprague, Mason Dykes, Garrett Sprague, Griffin Sprague and Cory McCann. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm, Friday, February 27, 2026, at the Piedmont First United Methodist Church with burial to follow at the Mathewson Cemetery in Piedmont, Oklahoma.
