Darrel Lynn Branson

Darrel Lynn Branson, 68, of Yukon, OK, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 5, 2026.

Born on April 20, 1957, in Shattuck, OK, to Cloyd & Shirley Branson. He graduated from Fort Supply High School and went on to marry, raise a beautiful family, and build a successful career as a Compressor Mechanic in the Natural Gas industry.

Darrel cherished spending time with his family, cheering on his grandkids in their sports and hobbies, and celebrating their accomplishments. He was always eager to go fishing whenever he had the opportunity. He was known for his warm and generous nature, and his ability to love others and bring joy to those around him will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

He is survived by his parents, Cloyd and Shirley Branson of Ft. Supply, OK; brother, Vick Branson and family of Ft. Supply, OK; son, Justin Branson and wife, Malinda, of Cheyenne, OK; daughter, Kelsie Schneid and husband, Mike, of San Antonio, TX; daughter, Jess Walton and husband, Scotty, of Mustang, OK; his 4 grandchildren, Mallory, Reagan, Bennett, and Nate, and many nieces, nephews, and friends who were like family.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 44 years, Jackie, and his youngest brother, Roy Branson.

Services: A memorial service will be held at Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church in Woodward, OK on Thursday, February 12th at 11 am with a funeral reception to follow.
