Robert James Krett

Robert J. Krett, age 56, of New Castle (DE) passed away peacefully on June 6, 2024 from complications of a debilitating stroke. Born to Raymond and Sandra Krett, Sr., Robert was a beloved son, brother, and friend. He will be dearly missed by his parents; his siblings, Raymond Krett, Jr., Vicki Sheraton, and Richard Krett (Regina), and nephews Jeffrey Sheraton (Katie) and Michael Sheraton.
Robert grew up in New Castle and enjoyed spending time as a child at the family's beach house in Sea Isle City, New Jersey. He was a graduate of Delcastle High School where he learned and developed his carpentry skills. Robert dedicated many years of his life working at Earle's Tires, where he was known for his expertise and dedication. Outside of work, he had a deep passion for riding his cherished motorcycle, finding joy and freedom on the open road.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Christina Care's Wilmington Hospital ER and 5th Floor, Complete Care at Hillside, and Accent Care Hospice for the exceptional care they provided to Robert during his time of need.
Robert will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. A memorial service will be held at the Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home 101 W. 6th Street, New Castle, DE 19720 on Monday, June 17, 2024 from 5:30 – 7:30 PM, where family and friends can gather to celebrate his life and share cherished memories.
