Robert Krieg Obituary
Born on Dec. 30, 1941, in San Francisco, California, Robert was a produce clerk/manager at the old Safeway store in Sonora. He was promoted to produce merchandiser and was selected to establish the first floral program in all Northern California Safeway stores. After retiring, he opened a flower shop in Rancho Cordova, California. Throughout his life, he dedicated himself to his love of old cars, painting, and studying the scriptures.
Robert is pre-deceased by his beloved wife, Diane Krieg, and survived by his sons, Tony Krieg and David Krieg; daughters-in-law Sherry Krieg and Laura Krieg; grandchildren Daniel, Philip and Katharine, Steven and Hope, Colten and Grace, Tanner and Natasha, and Zachary; and his great-grandchildren Canyon, Daniel, Jaden, Gideon, Grace and Luke. He is also survived by his stepdaughters, Renee Cook and April Harriot; sons-in-law, Evan and Phillip; and grandchildren Ava, Amelia, Jada, Autumn and Cici.
A funeral service will be held on Dec. 19, 2025, at All Saints Catholic Church, 18674 Cherokee Drive in Twain Harte, California. The service will begin at 11 a.m. and conclude at 2 p.m.
