Robert (Bob) Frederick Kriley, 44, passed away on May 17, 2024, in Kansas City, KS. Bob was born on August 3, 1979, in Plainville, KS, the son of Robert and Theresa (Thummel) Kriley.
He graduated from Stockton High School in 1998 where he participated in 4-H, FFA, and played basketball and golf.
Bob loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, canoeing, fishing, birdwatching, and particularly listening to the song of the whippoorwill. He was kind and would always lend a helping hand. He was a hard and loyal worker at Trabon Group, a printing company, for more than 20 years. Bob's smile was contagious, and he could make anyone laugh. He loved God and family and was a loving uncle to all his nieces and nephews, as well as his great nieces and nephews. He was a sports fan and followed the Dallas Cowboys and Kansas City Royals, although his loyalties lied with the Kansas City Chiefs, and he hardly ever missed a game. Bob also enjoyed listening to music, singing, and writing poetry.
Bob was preceded in death by his father, Robert Kriley, and his grandparents, Irene and Willie Kriley and John and Ruth Thummel.
Survivors include his mother, Theresa Kriley of Stockton; sister, Connie Braun and husband John of Victoria; brother, Chris Kriley and wife Julie of Stockton; sister, Cindy Broxterman and husband Steve of Hoyt; sister, Grace Liss and husband James of Shawnee Mission; 11 nieces and nephews, Chelsey (Andy) Peterson, Amber (Cole) Harris, Paige (Anthony) Fink, Cara (Kevin) Shivers, Amanda (Jay) Disberger, Thomas Broxterman, Patrick (Jenna) Broxterman, Lucas Broxterman, Mary Broxterman, Stanley (Julia) Liss, and Eisen Liss, along with 10 great-nieces and nephews. Bob is also survived by his fiancé Sally Ingels and her daughter Alexandra of Linwood, KS.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 24, 2024 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Plainville. A Vigil Service and Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening at Plumer-Overlease Funeral Home in Stockton
