Robert Thomas "Bob" Kuglin

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Kuglin, fondly known as Bob, who left us peacefully on March 30, 2026, at the age of 95. He was born on March 17, 1931, in Chicago, IL to Edward and Rhea Margaret (Ralston) Kuglin. He married the love of his life, the late Jo-Ann Evers, on July 31, 1953, in Chicago, IL. They cherished 52 wonderful years together before her passing in March of 2006.

Bob graduated from Parker High School in 1949 and enlisted in the United States Air Force. He proudly served from 1949 to 1952. After his time in the service, he began a long and fulfilling career with Sears Roebuck, where he devoted many years of service, exemplifying dedication and hard work. He was known for his genuine compassion, always willing to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. His warm and infectious laughter brought joy not just to his family, but to countless friends and colleagues throughout his life.

Bob is survived by his daughters: Vicki Kuglin, Lisa (Mike) Knaack, and Beth (Al) Ekeroth; his grandchildren: Korbin (Amber) Mantel, Rachel Knaack, and Sydney Ekeroth; his great-granddaughter: JoAnn; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, and great-great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Jo-Ann (Evers) Kuglin; his parents; and his siblings: Edward "James" Kuglin and Peggy Hoffman.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the wonderful nurses and caregivers at the Courtyard of McHenry and Accord Hospice, whose kindness and support were invaluable, providing comfort during his final days.

The family requests contributions be made in Bob's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the American Heart Association
