Robert Kulp Obituary

He was born March 4, 1932, to his parents, Jacob B. and Ada Moyer Kulp, at their home in Elroy, PA.
He was a devoted husband for 70 years and 8 months to his wife, June E. Kulp. He is also survived by his two sons, Douglas Kulp and Craig Kulp, a grandson, Dylan Kulp, and Ashley Lewis.
He was preceded in death by his sister Dorothy Wenhold and brother Linneus Kulp.
His family misses him very much because he was so much fun to be around. He also had many other friends because everyone wanted to be his friend.
He was a graduate of Souderton High School and also studied at the Wharton School of Business.
He was drafted into the U.S. ARMY and trained at Fort Campbell in Kentucky. After he was discharged, he married the former June Derr in 1955 and started to work for Nationwide Insurance as an agent with his father. He continued to work for Nationwide Insurance until his retirement in 1998.
His many interests included fishing, trap shooting, flying his airplane, competing in motorcycle races, snowmobiling, hunting, and camping.
A funeral service for Robert will take place at Noon on Friday, August 22, 2025, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 69 West Broad Street, Souderton, PA 18964, where the family will greet guests from 11:00 to 11:45 AM. Interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery, Souderton, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Robert's name may be made to Emmanuel Lutheran Church 69 West Broad St., Souderton PA 18964 or The Souderton-Harleysville Game Fish and Forestry Assn. PO Box 308, Tylersport, PA 18971.
