Robert Lasiter Obituary
A “Celebration of Life” visitation for Robert Tillman Lasiter, 75, will be held on Sunday, April 7, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, Louisiana.
Robert was born on May 18, 1948 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Joe and Thula Rosa Burns Lasiter and passed away on Friday, March 29, 2024 in Shreveport.
Robert was a graduate of Fair Park High School, Class of 1966. He worked loyally for Union Pacific Railroad for 40 years. He attended LSU and was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha. He served his country faithfully in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. He was awarded several medals for his service.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Thula Lasiter; sisters, Norma Lasiter Williams (Jack Williams) and Jean Lasiter. Left to cherish his memory is his sister, Jo Lasiter Hamner (Jim Hamner); daughters, Lauren Lasiter (Kevin Grelle), Marion Lasiter (Michele Baldacci), Crystal Lasiter Ahroon (Bret Ahroon); and three granddaughters, Livia, Joanna, and Corinna Baldacci.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
