Robert Latour

.Robert Latour (Bob) age 66, of Dudley died Thursday, April 10, 2025 at UMass Memorial HealthCare in Worcester, MA. Robert was born October 25, 1958 in Webster, MA. He is the son of the late Raymond and Betty (Balta) Latour and has lived in Dudley his entire life.
He is survived by two daughters: Rachel DiDonato and her husband Shane of Dudley, MA and Jessica Girouard and her husband Shaun of Spencer, MA; his mother Betty (Balta) Latour of Webster, one sister: Pamela Belanger of Webster, MA and one brother: Paul Latour of Newport, RI and loving grandfather to four grandchildren Luca, Dominic, Jack and Gianna and his former wife Jane Krawczyk of Webster, MA.
He retired in 2021 from Local 4 as a Heavy Equipment Operator and took immense pride in his work, a career that suited his hands-on nature and strong work ethic. Outside of work, Bob was happiest in the great outdoors -with a fishing pole in hand or deep in the woods hunting. He had a deep appreciation for nature and shared that love with his family and friends every chance he got. In his younger years, he lived life wide open - riding and racing motorcycles with a fearless spirit.
When his children were young, Bob dedicated his time to coaching soccer, always encouraging sportsmanship, teamwork, and having fun. Later in life, his greatest joy came from being with his grandchildren. Their laughter and energy lit up his world, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
He lived life to the fullest - with a big heart, a strong spirit, and a smile that could light up a room.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, April 15 at Bartel Funeral Home, 33 Schofield Avenue, Dudley, MA with a prayer service at 5 pm. followed by calling hours.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, April 15 from 5 to 7 pm at Bartel Funeral Home, 33 Schofield Avenue, Dudley, MA. Burial will be at a later date in Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery in Webster, MA.
