Robert S. LaViolette

Robert S. LaViolette, age 81, of North Versailles, passed away Friday, December 20, 2024. He was born in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, a son of the late Sydney and Gretna LaViolette. He was an Army veteran that went onto work for over 30 years as a dental labs supervisor. He always enjoyed watching the Greenbay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers play football. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Sandra (Barr) LaViolette; and brothers Rodger and Dave. He is survived by his daughter Danielle (Fiancé Johnny McConnell) LaViolette of Waynesboro; grandchildren Duane Pomaibo and Brent (Angel) Pomaibo; great grandchildren Carter and Finn; brothers Billy, Donnie and Dale; Sisters Sandy, Linda, Karen, Gale and Debbie; many nieces and nephews; and his puppies Zoe and Hemi. Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, December 27th at the Forgie-Snyder Funeral Home, 1032 Broadway, East McKeesport, 412-823-8083. Everyone will gather at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 28th at the funeral home for a funeral service. Interment with military honors will follow at Restland Memorial Park in Monroeville.
